A couple of weeks ago I had a text message from a student who wanted to show Sarah's Garden to her parents, who were visiting from their home in Brazil. Chatting with her yesterday I heard that one of the outings she had arranged for them was a trip to Hampton Court palace, where they had admired the rose garden, something rather different to typical gardens at home in Brazil I guess....and rather grand comared to Sarah's Garden.
So imagine my surprise and delight yesterday when she told me that her Mum had said the garden she had taken most from was actually 'the student garden'. I think perhaps this echoes many of the comments we had at our recent Open Day - everyone can find things in Sarah's Garden that they can try out at home - even if it's in the middle of Sao Paolo it seems!
